I was listening to Megan Wood’s The Truth (link below, if you haven’t heard or just want the encouragement at your fingertips) on my way to a client’s this morning when I got stuck on this line:
“How many times can you hear the same lie, before you start to believe it?”
This morning, it hit different. All I could think was:

I’ve had a situation lately that is fraught with toxicity and red flags that has allowed past lies to rear their ugly head, tempting me to fall prey and believe, as I used to.
Only – no.
They just don’t resonate the way they used to. And I see it. Loud and bold. LIES!
Oh, the enemy is good. And sneaky. And comes at us with half-truths. But God is bigger. And when His Spirit has been at work in us – healing, shaping, refining – the lies stand out. And the truth overpowers.
Stay vigilant in your walk with the Lord; with your eyes firmly fixed on Him and your heart surrendered to His Word. He will show you the truth. And He will protect you from the lies… and the liars.
Keep growing in Him.
